Texas Mobile Home Demolition demoed mobile homes when no one else would touch them.
No one would touch them because they are very difficult and no one knew how so there was no one to learn from.
Our first website went online April 3, 2009. Then we decided to put up TexasMobileHomeDemolition.com. It was put it up July 4, 2011. We are telling you all this because it can be easily verified. You don't have to worry about whether we have the experience. Believe me, there is nothing worse than getting in the middle of a mobile home demo and have the crew leave because it is just to tough and it happens all the time...just not with us. Can you imagine a doctor walking out in the middle of surgery because it too tough? What would you do?
The difficulty in mobile home demolition is the frame. Because of the frame you just can't run a dozer through it. If you did you would just have a mangled mess that now you have to separate just so you can load it and haul it away.
Oh yeah, a dozer would also cost too much to get to the job site. The most important thing is to make mobile home demolition affordable and dozers are not cheap to transport, operate, insure, repair etc.... If mobile home demolition is not affordable then you don't get you mobile home demoed and we don't get to work. Now we are talking "affordable" not "dirt cheap".
We started doing mobile home demolitions because many of our land clearing or tractor mowing clients had the need and no one would do it. We thought, they are cheap built buildings so they should be easy to demo. WRONG??!!
Our first mobile home demolition, we took out 2 single wide mobile homes, located on 1 lot, in August. It took 3 weeks. Like we told you earlier, there was no one too ask how to do it so we had to figure it out ourselves.
Now we can demo 2 single wide mobile homes, with 1 crew, in the same day. Hauling away the demolished debris for 2 homes will take 2-3 days. (Weather and distance to the land fill is the ultimate deciding factor.)
We haul away all debris and metal ourselves. We tried using roll off dumpster companies but they are too slow on the pick ups and they cost you too much! It's faster if we do it our self by using our own equipment.
There is a lot to know about demolishing a mobile home.
This is one thing that is better left to the professionals.
