Texas Modular Home Demolition performs more Modular home demolitions every year in Texas than any other company.

We are the oldest Modular home demolition company in Texas.

We have had dozens upon dozens of clients have someone say "We will remove your home for free or for the metal" etc.. and all they do is take the metal and walk away leaving the property owner with a mess.  To make matters worse it normally costs more to have us or anyone who does this type of work to take over the job at this point.  We normally price the job knowing there will be a small amount of recycling. With the metal gone we can 't give you that credit. Don't let this happen to you!!

A modular home is one that is built indoors in a factory-like setting. The finished products are covered and transported to their new locations, where they are assembled by a builder. A modular home is not a mobile home; it is simply a home that is built off-site, as opposed to on-site.  Once it is delivered and set up the system sued to transport the modular home is removed because it is not part of the modular home.

What is the difference between a modular home and a mobile home?

A modular home conforms to a Federal building code, called the HUD code. Mobile Homes conform to building codes at their destinations. Manufactured homes are built on a non-removable steel chassis. Manufactured housing is generally less expensive than site built and modular homes. Manufactured homes sometimes decrease in value over time.  The HUD Code requires more stringent guidelines for building modular homes so they typically are stronger and longer lasting homes than mobiles.  They typically haev betet resale value too.
